Whitney birth

 Whitney Kaie Turley was born on May 3 at 4:19pm she weighed 8lbs 3oz and measured 18in long.

Allie, Nate, Grandpa Noyce and Jojo got to the hospital a little before 9am. Debbie Hawley was the nurse that took care of us, she is a friend of the family's and Allie was so greatful to have her there again. She was there for Burgandi's birth also. As Debbie tried to get with the Dr to find out what his orders were we found out that the Dr forgot to do a Beta Strep test at 36weeks so they had to give Allie antibiotics that take 4 hours to get into your system. So by the time they got that started the Dr told us it would b 4:30 before he could break the water and try to move things along. Patosin had already been started and Debbie told us that doesn't mean the baby can't come before that.

When Allie got the epideral it only worked on one side again just like it had with Natilee. They were not able to correct it and she was dilated to an 8 already but the baby was still high. They gave her a spinal block and that relaxed her and suddenly the baby came down quickly. Debbie ran out for help and they put oxygen on Allie. The Dr barely made it there in time to deliver Whitney. After Whitney's shoulders came out Debbie had Allie reach down and help deliver her the rest of the way. It was a cool experience for Allie one that Nate is not at all jealous of. He would rather just come after the baby was born :0).

She is perfect and beautiful! She has alot of dark hair just like Burgandi and Natilee did.
