Fun with Vince and Shelby
We had a few warm days where the kids could actually wear shorts. Not sure what happened to those days :0).
Our dog Mini finally got a hair cut so she now looks like a dog again and not a mop without a stick!
Shelby was one worn out little girl this day that I watched the kids!
Sick Baby
Natilee had been sick for a week along with Burgandi both of them averaging a temperature of 103. Took them to the emergency room one night when Natilee's temp hit 107. Told it was just a virus and to go home and keep doing what we were doing.
Took them to their Pediatrician later in the week and found out Natilee had Pneumonia. They gave her a shot and sent us home. Told me if her breathing got worse to take her in. That night we woke to her coughing. When I went to check on her, her breathing was extremely labored. I gave her a breathing treatment and it did not get better. So I took her to the emergency room while Nate stayed with BJ.
They admitted her to the hospital, put an IV in her arm and gave her a few breathing treatments. I the morning her breathing was still not much better and the morning nurse called for the ICU Doctor to come take a look at her.
They moved her to PICU which stands for Pediatric Intesive Care Unit, there they had me give her continous breathing treatments for a full day and most of the next day. Then they began to give them less often.
The poor little girl was not eating or drinking much of anything. It was nice when we moved out of the PICU. She had good nurses the whole time. When she finally got to go to the playroom it was good but she was still hooked up to the IV and oxygen. which made it a little difficult.
When she finally started eating again she would only eat foods she could pick up and eat herself which was a bit challenging but we made it work.

still sick
She finally got off all the monitors and oxygen. She was able to go to the playroom without all the contraptions. So Nat came in Early Sat morning around 2am and left on Weds about 1 in the afternoon or so.
So about 5 days in the hospital and we were all so greatful when she finally went home!!!
About a week after she came home she got sick with something again. She thru up all over a couple times and had some unbelievable diariah. Then not long after that Lance got hit with a baseball during warm ups at one of his games and split his lip open and had to go to the hospital and get a stitch put in it. Hopefully we are done at the hospital!!!
